Teach me how to derby!
Found this chilling in my drafts…. Comments on my current state of mind.
Last night (March 10th) was our (Chi Omega’s) date party with 3 other houses KD, AGR, Sigma Nu (plus dates, it was a massive date party!) and we went to the racetrack!
It really didn’t go as I had planned(Mainly because of my date)but we (my date, my sister and her date that I set her up with) ate dinner and gambled a little bit. We watched the starting of one race but didn’t really dance because it was not crowded/dark enough for the boys to feel comfortable(and they weren’t drinking like they thought they would be). But that’s fine. I had a good time with my date and friends.
I didn’t really take many pictures but here:
My KD best friend and I before we loaded the buses! So thankful that she had a great time with a phi delt like I did! (love her to death)
I had the privilege of taking the president of Phi Delta Theta with me to my date party! I had such a good time. (Can I just get a good haha about this now?)
My beautiful sister, Kelsy and I! Please note that those blue heels (though fierce) were killing my feet by the end of the night! (Yeah, I love those heels but they hurt. Also love Kelsy. So glad we had Calc together last semester)
This is a really terrible picture.
I put $20 dollars in a penny slot machine and max bet that machine for the first time I gambled EVER in my ENTIRE life.
I wound up winning $73. Needless to say, I’m never gambling again for the rest of my life!
