And now presenting...

I'm Andrea, 18 year old who is obsessed with Chi Omega, Harry Potter, theatre, musicals, music, pearls, dresses, Sperries, college, fun, fratty guys, friends and big hair. I'm proud to be a Cowgirl at Oklahoma State University!

Just wanted to remember of the deck that the women of Chi Omega and the men of Sigma Phi Epsilon won homecoming 2011 with.

Yeah, that’s how big it was.

CHIO/SIGEP HOCO DOMINATION 2011

WE SWEPT!

1st place deck

1st place engineering

1st place lawn sign

1st place homecoming carnvial

4th place football frenze

The theme of homecoming overall was ‘Where your story began’

Our homecoming directors decided to interpret that with the 7 wonders of OSU.
Along the top of our deck (built on Seps front lawn) you see the 7 wonders of the world.

The scroll shows the 7 wonders of OSU and how we interpret them.

We also remember the 10 on the panel that is to the left of the bulleye.
The 10 are 10 members of the OSU basketball family that lost their lives in a plane crash 11 years ago.

Oh did I mention this entire deck is made out of chicken wire and 1 inch by 1 inch pieces of flame retardant tissue paper (also known as pomps).
How to ‘pomp’ is you have a grid telling you what color to put in what hole. Then you push the paper tissue around the edge of an eraser, dip it in glue, then put it through the chicken wire.  We start in August. We don’t finish until the last weekend in October.
