Dad: Here you can warm your hands over this small candle, not like it will do anything?
Me: Just like the Little Matchbox Girl.
Dad: Worst Christmas Story ever.
Mom: What's so bad about it?
Dad: Think of Christmas stories in a general sense. What are they all about?
Mom: Christmas?
Me: No, Mom. They are about redeeming. The bad turning to good. Like, the Grinch or Scrooge. 
Dad: This story is about a little girl who dies. 
Me: She looks in at the family eating dinner, lights a candle, and suddenly the world isn't so cold after all. 
Dad: The last picture is of her flying off with an angel. 
Me: At least it wasn't like "And then she was warm forevermore in the firey pits of hell" She was at least in heaven.
Dad: Yeah, the poor don't deserve to go to heaven. 
Mom: It was Christmas of course she got to go to heaven. 
Me: Yeah, because being a good person and accepting Jesus is definitely not the reason you get to go to heaven. 
Dad: Instead, she gets to be warm in Hell.
Me: It's the karma for freezing to death.

South Padre Skiing LA Destin Destin probably will NOT happen. South Padre seems legit but we won’t be going when all the Texas schools are. Not to mention me and all my friends are BROKE. Why does Mexico have to be so sketchy?!?

I know this makes me sound pretentious and...

but since I’ve been around so many prep/fratty guys in college… Cargo shorts worn with a polo t-shirt makes me want to rip the pockets off WAYYYYY more than cargo shorts worn without the polo. I feel like it’s disrespectful. “Because, why do they need so many pockets anyways?”
